Jordan’s Miracle Dive is the result of a meaningful collaboration between Dr. Rashondia Gaines and her son, Aiden Gaines. Together, they bring both professional experience and real-life athletic insight to the story.

Dr. Rashondia Gaines has spent much of her career helping others grow through education and service. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Hampton University before continuing to Virginia Commonwealth University, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She later completed advanced dental training at the University of Missouri–Kansas City and earned a Master of Science in Medical Education from Nova Southeastern University.

For nearly thirty years she has served as a professor at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, mentoring students as they prepare for careers in healthcare. Her dedication to service has also taken her around the world through dental mission programs, providing care to communities in need.

Aiden Gaines adds a personal dimension to the book through his experience as a competitive diver. A standout athlete during his time at Fort Pierce Central High School, he won district diving championships twice and later continued his diving career at Howard University on scholarship.

Together, their collaboration created a story about courage, determination, and believing in yourself.
