Rashondia Gaines
Dr. Rashondia Gaines and Aiden Gaines represent a unique combination of experience, mentorship, and youthful determination behind Jordan’s Miracle Dive.
Dr. Gaines has devoted much of her life to education and service. After earning her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Hampton University, she went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Virginia Commonwealth University. Her professional training continued through an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry, followed by a Master of Science in Medical Education from Nova Southeastern University.
For nearly three decades, she has taught at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, guiding students through the demanding journey of becoming healthcare professionals. She has also remained deeply committed to community outreach, participating in more than twenty dental mission trips across the United States and internationally in countries such as Jamaica, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Guatemala.
Aiden Gaines brings the perspective of an accomplished athlete to the story. While attending Fort Pierce Central High School, he built an impressive record in competitive diving, winning district championships twice and earning recognition as both Swim and Dive MVP and Athlete of the Year for diving.
His dedication to the sport eventually led him to Howard University, where he continues competing as a collegiate diver on scholarship.
Through this mother-son collaboration, Jordan’s Miracle Dive reflects both the wisdom of experience and the determination that comes from pursuing a dream.
